Event raises over $108,000, honors four Remarkable Erieites
Saint Mary's Follies celebrated a decade of distinction at the 10th annual fundraising event on September 14, 2023. This year's event, chaired by Drs. Chris and Caitlin Clark, saw a record breaking amount of over $108,000 raised through sponsorships, donations and ticket sales. All proceeds from the event benefit Saint Mary's Home of Erie.
The event hosted 375 guests at the Bayfront Convention Center who were there to support the work of Saint Mary's and honor four award recipients. The Ageless Remarkable Erieite awards, presented by past recipient and Mistress of Ceremonies Noel Burgoyne, were given to Mary Jane Koenig, Richard and Diane Quien, and the late William DeWitt. The honorees were chosen based on their work, service, and volunteerism in the Erie community while being over the age of 75. Read more about their inspiring stories here.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and a Champagne Toast sponsored by Building Systems, Inc. prior to a formal sit down dinner and inspiring award ceremony. Live musical entertainment was performed throughout the evening by local talent including Sherree Beltz, Joe Greulich, Jean and Michael Malthaner, Bob Martin, Patrick Thiem, and Devon Yates.
